SEPTEMBER 2025: THE IPHONE 17

Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 17 in September 2025, and the rumours surrounding this new model are already generating a lot of excitement. Here's an overview of the information available so far:

ABOUT THE DESIGN

One of the most talked-about new models is the iPhone 17 Air. This model will replace the Plus version, with a completely new design. We're talking about a 6.6-inch device, but with a record slimness of just 6mm (7.8mm for the iPhone 16). This is made possible by a new screen technology that merges the touch and display layers. The result is an iPhone that's lighter, thinner, but just as powerful.

And another detail: the rear camera sensor could be moved to the centre of the device, in a style reminiscent of the Google Pixel. A single 48 MP lens, for consistently good quality, but with a more minimalist approach. 📸

CONCERNING THE DISPLAY

In terms of performance, we're logically expecting the A19 chip to be even faster and more energy-efficient. All models could finally move to a 120Hz screen, which means incredible fluidity.

A new, more resistant coating than the current Ceramic Shield could also make its appearance. Fewer scratches and fewer reflections.

CONCERNING AUTONOMY AND CONNECTIVITY

Despite its slimness, the iPhone 17 Air shouldn't sacrifice battery life. Apple is said to be banking on a high-density battery and on software optimisation to ensure that its battery life is up to scratch. Apple may also finally try to integrate its own 5G modem. A big step towards technological independence. 📶

THE PRICE

According to reports, the iPhone 17 Air will have a similar starting price to the iPhone 16 Plus, at around $899. Apple is expected to unveil the full iPhone 17 range in September 2025, with availability expected shortly after the official announcement.
